Leadership Academy Professional Circles Methodology

A "Leadership Academy Handbook" has been created for school principals and other school leaders. Its aim is to support new school leaders and senior leaders in their development in the area of people management and the changes we are experiencing in today's society. However, reading the handbook is not enough. Our goal is to engage in joint discussion, reflect on its content and, finally, based on the exercises in the handbook, hold specific discussions and share best practices in four key areas. We have therefore developed a methodology for implementing and leading structured professional development circles. The Leadership Academy professional circles methodology is a methodology for establishing and organizing structured professional development circles for school principals, which are facilitated by facilitators and during which principals discuss their daily challenges in relation to school leadership. It includes a reference framework for school principals as circle participants and a reference framework for the facilitator who accompanies the circle meetings. The methodology offers a comprehensive overview of recommended steps from planning to implementation to evaluation and recording of meetings.
